We are glad to share with you our impressions about the recent Paris airshow.
Throughout the airshow our cosy chalet was hosting airlines, OEMs and financiers.
It was great to have new SSJ-100 in elegant blue Interjet livery at static display. Its lavish white leather interior by Pininfarina impressed the visitors we took aboard to demonstrate a roomy passenger cabin, with huge overhead bins and pretty high ceiling for this size of an aircraft.
Another great attraction for the visitors and potential customers was Russia’s MC-21 flight training device. It was a real thrill to have a chance of flying a new generation aircraft using the vast capabilities of a hi-tech trainer gadget. It really added a feeling of a real flight to a virtual piloting experience. IFC has strong faith in that project having a solid order in its leasing portfolio.
And of course Bombardier’s CSeries aircraft long waited appearance and flight programme was a definite highlight of the show. It is a certain proof that in 2016 we will see new CS jets making revenue flights around the world. What a good indicator for customers and potential clients interested in this type.
